Co-ordination and interpretation of GP and Consultant reports and opinion offered as to course of action required.

♦ Counselling services
Service available with referral to appropriate agencies.

♦ Management / self referrals 
Where there is concern expressed over an individuals capacity to perform tasks expected of them the OHSS can provide guidance on capabilities.

♦ Specialist health advice
OHSS can assist you with advice or information on special issues such as pregnant workers, lone workers, asbestos or lead workers.

♦ Telephone advisory service
Service available for line managers, personnel officers, health and safety staff and, if requested, for employees on both health and safety matters in the workplace. 

♦ Pre-employment Health Assessments
Occupational health adviser opinion given on completed health questionnaire, or after appointment with Occupational Health Adviser for health screening.

♦ Screening services 
OHSS can provide full screening services for eyesight, hearing, lung function, blood sampling, urinalysis, individual lifestyle management and company stress audit.

♦ Legislative compliance issues
Advice on forthcoming health and safety legislation is available at the end of a phone / fax line.
